KR Guide Info is an independent English-language publication for people preparing their first days in South Korea. Our main focus is arrival, mobile connectivity, payments, local transport and the practical steps between them.
Who is responsible
The site owner publishes under the name KR Guide Info Editorial Team and controls publication, corrections and commercial disclosures. This name does not imply a large newsroom or that every service has been personally tested. We do not claim government, airport, transport-operator or card-issuer affiliation.
Three kinds of information you will find
- Documented facts: rules, fees and timetables linked to the operator or responsible authority, with a date of review.
- Our analysis: comparisons or calculations whose assumptions are shown, so readers can change them for their own trip.
- Direct checks: a described task performed in a website or app, with its device/interface scope and limits. This is not presented as a physical visit.
For example, our cash guide shows how a transit fare and chosen allowances produce a budget. Our map guide records a signed-out desktop search comparison. Our luggage guide identifies a conflict between an operator’s own pages rather than presenting an uncertain opening time as verified.
What we cannot establish from a web check
A published schedule does not prove a bus has seats today. A listed counter does not prove it is open during a temporary closure. A provider’s description does not prove every foreign card will complete payment. Articles distinguish these limits from the facts actually checked.
Unless a guide explicitly describes a completed visit or product test, it should be read as documented research and editorial analysis. We do not invent first-hand travel experiences, reviews, staff credentials or photographs.
